.19. THE WORLD OF ART: ART AND ARTISTS IN NEW YORK CITY: DANIEL ILIESCU: And all of a sudden, the press and art communities began to write and talk about him. t11.UNDISCOVERED GREAT TALENTS: DIVAS IN THE MAKING. It is not an easy task to write about Sophia Dalle, nor to engage into a dialogue with this macabre and translucent Diva in the making. She lives in a world we are familiar with, and in a cosmos where only most daring thoughts, phantasmagoric visions and idealism blend and fade in. She is idealistic, a spiritual chic and abundant with multidimensional musical talent. She interrupts you all the time, she rushes to freeze and free words of wisdom, you wish you could totally understand, and she challenges your intellect, even though, she disdains ivy league cum laude graduates who analyze everything in life. 270.WORLD CABARET: BY MAXIMILLIEN DE LAFAYETTE. NEW YORK CITY- Her  October cabaret show at Joe's Pub in New York City was a smashing success. Barb Jungr took New York and the audience by storm. Listening to her albums is a delight. But, seeing her performing on stage is the ultimate musical treat and an experience at many levels, not to miss. From her very first song to Waterloo Sunset, her international hit, Barb Jungr shined brighter than midnight sunset, enrobed with a femme fatale aura, a sensual intellectualism and the implosion of a dignified femme fatale. Her show was a sort of a tribute to Bob Dylan. She sang his biggest hits, her style and her way and she excelled. But, when she delivered Jacques Brel's "Ay Marieke, Marieke", the audience went wild. She mesmerized the hell out of them. ART & STYLE MAGAZINE..

t30.GOSSIPS AND BUZZ BUZZ. MANY MANY STORIES. WHAT'S HAPPENING OUT THERE? Alexandra Kerry loomed out of the Cannes night like a Magritte nude, leaving the paparazzi pondering; "Did she dress in the dark? Was her postmodern take on visible panty line and Mister Magoo chic a ghastly accident — like an errant trail of loo paper — or a cunning ploy to lure lenses?". Whatever, it worked. "I have been labeled like I'm this angry girl - I'm like, this rebel, I'm like, punk, and I am SO not any of them...  LA FEMME MAGAZINE

t32.THE MOST ELEGANT, THE BEST AND THE WORST DRESSED STARS IN AMERICA. "You have one minute to impress, 30 seconds to catch the moment and just 3 seconds to make a lasting impression." Once, wrote Maximillien de Lafayette in his book  on world protocol and etiquette. And how you can you impress by catching the moment in less than 3 seconds without saying a word? Simple: Dress to kill. Dress for Success! Be Elegant and Refined. Elegance is the key.  Remember, nowadays stars don't create fashion anymore as did the femmes fatales of the golden era of Hollywood, thanks to Valentino.. LA FEMME MAGAZINE

Who's to blame? A move is afoot to blacken the museum's name. This may not be just. “AS SOON as there's a government that decides that others should do this job, they're welcome,” says Donny George, the research director at the Iraq National Museum. He thus acknowledged his own vulnerability to the de-Baathifying zeal of Pietro Cordone, the Italian diplomat whom the Americans recently put in charge of Iraqi culture. THIEVES WITH CLASS AND FINE TASTE FOR ART. There is no doubt that the image of the suave and sophisticated gentleman art thief has been enhanced down the years by a succession of Hollywood icons, from Cary Grant in the Hitchcock classic To Catch a Thief to Sir Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones in Entrapment. But when it comes to the world of art heists - with beautiful paintings, elegant locations and connotations of an exotic millionaire lifestyle - the reality is closer to dangerous criminal gangs operating on an international scale.WORLD ART CELEBRITIES JOURNAL

Francesca Chillemi ODDITIES AND CONTROVERSIES

t1.Too pretty and too sexy for Italian television. After decades of weather bulletins presented by military colonels in full uniform, Italian television got its first weather girls last September. But the outlook does not seem too bright for the first to hit the airwaves, a former Miss Italy. She has already run into trouble for being too sexy. Italian TV is infamous for its scantily-clad girls, who are a regular feature - dancing, presenting or just looking pretty - usually alongside a much older, less attractive male presenter. But Eleonora Pedron, 21, proved there is such a thing as too sexy for Italian TV when she was suspended for doing a rather raunchy magazine spread in Capital magazine, sporting only a G-string. t23.ODDITIES AND CONTROVERSIES.  t2. HOWARD STERN VS. OPRAH. The American tabloid magazine reported that on March 18, millions of Americans watched an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, during which an O, The Oprah Magazine writer described in jawdropping detail, the latest fads in teen sex. Viewers learned that a "tossed salad," had little to do with healthy eating, but instead referred to oral sex to the anus. The guest went on to describe "rainbow" parties -- gatherings at which a gaggle of lipstick- wearing girls provide oral sex to one or more males. For this, declares shock jock Howard Stern, 50, Oprah should come under the same scrutiny as he has over his notoriously raunchy broadcasts. Since 1990, the Federal Communications Commission has levied fines, totaling close to $2 million, against Howard's show... LA FEMME MAGAZINE
